Well its been a month since I last had time to blog. A lot has been happening in the online bingo world. I am happy to say the only complaint I received the past month was from one very frustrated lady who could not remember her password. Bless her. I get days like that too, so of course I had much sympathy with her. What happened was I advised her how to re-set her password, which she did, and she logged on and played bingo for about 3 hours. Later that evening she tried to log back on, to join in with her favourite speed bingo games, and couldn’t remember her new password! As a person who occasionaly has a memory like a seive, I fully understand her frustration. I advised her to set another new password, with something that she loves, and she said bingo! Ugh no, I tell her, she shouldn’t set that as her password, not now that she has told it to me! Although we are all completely trustworthy at Starlight Bingo, one should always give the very best advice when it comes to account security. Of course the poor lady couldn’t understand really why I was advising her against using the password she had just told me, she just wanted to get on and play her favourite online bingo games!
I also received a lot of emails the past few weeks which were really nice. Players who have heard the news that the Bingo World Championship is back on again and are so excited! They absolutely love it! And one can see why… there is $10,000 up for grabs.
I remember last years Bingo World Championship event. It was tense to start with, lots of ‘GL’s’ flying off the screen (GL = Good Luck). Even though there was a competitive spirit amongst all the online players, there was also a great feeling of friendship amongst all. Its a wonderful event, and of course the prize money is fantastic too! I also remember one lady who had won a substantial amount in the championship, but didn’t know it at the time as there was a major power cut in her area, and she missed one of the games. Of course the intelligent software continued the game for her, so she didn’t lose out, she actually won, but she didn’t know until the power came back on!
